I'm not very happy with this shot; a reason you should always upload your images to the computer screen before deciding you're done - the LCD on the camera can lie a little. Today was a typical Friday at work - a bit hectic, but with a lot of giggles as we were all excited for the weekend. On Monday this week one of the Directors sent an email round suggesting a night out at the local pub with an open bar to welcome all the new folk - what an ace company to work for! At 5.00 we all piled out of the office into The Albyn and stood in the afternoon sun in the beer garden with bottles of cider and ginger beer. We all had a good natter and the new people were introduced to some of the office-dwellers that aren't in our building.

After a couple of drinks I headed home to finish making the flat look nice for Mum's visit, and make myself a quick dinner. I'm really excited for Edinburgh tomorrow and am hoping I'll get a good photo of one of the performers. Early train, so should head to bed just now...
