Weatheroak Windmill

An early evening short walk today took me to the windmill at Weatheroak.

Built in the early 19th century it is one of only five windmills remaining in the whole of Worcestershire. It is a Grade II listed building and was until recently owned by the Bournville Village Trust who for many years used it as a water tower.

It was converted into a house and in 2008 was on the market for £599,000. Whoever bought it at that time didn't invest wisely, because it is on the market again now at a rather more reasonable £360,000.
