Tufted Titmouse

The Husband - as we all know by now - loves picking up things from dumpsters and bringing them home. This doodad clearly is meant to be in a garden - maybe holding up a bloom on something? Anyway, I stuck it in the ground near where I put the birdseed, thinking a bird might sit on it. And here's a Titmouse. Sitting on it.

In other bird news - I seem to have a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker visiting my suet feeder. This is a new thing for me. I've seen a YBSA in and near the yard from time to time, but not one that has ever come to a feeder. This gal, and it is a gal, seems to be becoming a regular customer! So that's nice.
