Why oh why!!!

I had a short stroll in the fresh air to the local supermarket, the girl was putting out fresh flowers so I was tempted to treat myself then I spotted these. Why would anyone do this to natural flowers? Can't imagine the decor that these flowers would enhance either! (Sorry if you buy these, didn't mean to offend!)
