FlowerFriday4 A rose

Today's blip is a rose rather than a Violet as I simply didn't have time to take a shot of her.  She arrived looking rather under the weather, having apparently not slept well last night.  She soldiered on without a nap before her late morning Tumble Tots session immediately after which she was whisked away by her Godmother -to -be  for an afternoon with her.

The morning started bright enough but as I wheeled an empty buggy back to my car the rain began to fall and continued to do so all afternoon.  I took this shot and a few others during a lull when it was only drizzling: not super sharp but worth recording that our roses continue to bloom into November, even though the temperatures are dropping.
