Sleepy head

Today we were going to be going to a new swimming theme pool for Sam's birthday treat. When we were looking up something this morning we found a review saying that the slides were for 6 years and over. Obviously that means Will can't use them. The pool was very expensive at £19 per adult and £16 for Sam so with Will not being able use some of its facilities it didn't seem such a good plan. This was not mentioned on the website of the splash pool either, so of it wasn't for a review on trip advisor we would have driven an hour and a half and paid a fortune. I would have been furious!
Sam wanted to go to the fun session at our local pool instead, despite the offer of another theme pool. So Beverley Leisure Center's fun swim saved the day!
William swam a full width of the 'big pool' today - 17 meters. Until today the most he had done was a width of the little pool which is about 7 meters and, while on holiday, about 10 meters. Not only did he swim it once but he then did it again to show his former swimming teacher who was lifeguarding today.
We stopped for food in the cafe at the leisure centre which was surprisingly good. At home afterwards Sam, Will and Rick had a joint game of Minecraft - each on a seperate computer - until bedtime, while I made up packed lunches and book bags ready for tomorrow.
Today's blip is a sleepy Will after all that swimming.
