Stunning day for a bike ride

A year ago Mr and hazelh were visiting and we went for a beautiful fall bike ride. Today i did the same ride and it is now my annual November ride, hopefully they will be back soon to join me. It was a great day off, sleeping in, lazy morning, getting chores done, long bike ride and a much needed hair appointment. A lovely relaxing day for me but my sweetie was out the door early to attend a university rowing competition in Welland then to downtown Toronto to cheer on the university field hockey championships. Our alma mater (University of Victoria) was competing in both events and he went with/drove his friend, the UVic Athletic Director. It was a fun road trip sporting day for them. On a side note, our detached garage was reroofed today-perfect weather for this task! Nice to have this done and ready for the upcoming winter.
