A brass Bawbee......
A day split between town and country today. Once everything was fed, had to run junior into town for his maths tutor as Mrs F was otherwise engaged running Littlemiss to 2 separate birthday parties.
To kill time while waiting for Junior I went for a wander up the Meadows and down to Greyfriers to see this wee chap. The famous Greyfriars Bobby .His nose is a lot shinier than I remember as all the tourists keep rubbing it for luck. Had a wander into the graveyard and a keek through the gates at my old school . Looks much the same as it did when I left 34 years ago. Then a wander round the Quarter Mile development at the old Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. The last time I was there was when Junior was born. Always remember a queue of pregnant mums with their drips attached standing outside having a fag ! And getting a row for eating Mrs F's toast after the birth !
Feeling like winter tonight , raining and cold . May need to think about housing some more cows and calves soon.
