Stirling Castle and Ben Ledi.

This afternoon, being good and sunny, we went off to see what we could see. Passing through the village of Fallin we stopped at the site of the old, long closed, local coal mine.
A few trails wind round the site, up the spoil heap(bing, in Scots) and down again. This is the view to the west from the top. Left of centre, Stirling Castle sits on top of the crag and to the right, Ben Ledi is the biggest mountain.
I do hope this bright dry weather hangs on for a while yet. I don't mind the cold but that north wind gets into places it shouldn't!
