First Snows

.... on the lower peaks above our village in a brief clearing today. The bigger peaks remained shrouded in cloud. One thing is certain, my bouquetin and chamois friends are definitely in snow now. The first snow often melts before it finally settles in the Alps and so they might get another big picnic before the winter really settles in.
