foire des pilles

It was the foire in Les Pilles today. Lots of stalls, loads of people, plenty of food, some music, and the sun came out too! There was even a scarecrow competition :)

The foire on the first Sunday in November was an old tradition here in Les Pilles that ended over 100 years ago. Marylene, a woman who lives in the village, wanted to start it up again and the this is the second year now that it's been back up and running. She has done an amazing job and there were so many people there to enjoy the day.

Had a Skype with Luce today. Great to get a catch-up :)
