God's Fingers

What a beautiful day with perfect light enhancing the wind driven waves high on the shore, throwing up spumes of silvery, liquid light. I wandered from beach to beach capturing the kite surfers practice their hard learned tricks. At the end of the day God's Fingers gently slipped through the cloudy curtain to caress the evening walkers.
As I watched the Ireland rugby team play the All Blacks of New Zealand I wished I was there in Chicago, in a crowded pub watching it or even in a house of excited friends. Watching it alone at home was not my best choice ever.... However the result was magical as are the stories emanating from Chicago, already celebrating their own bit of sporting history.....just saying
