Swan at Rousham

Our first allotment-free weekend and Shelley proposed a trip to Rousham near Bicester.

A lovely old house, built in 1653 and still in the same family.  William Kent designed the gardens in the early 18th Century and they really are a delight to walk about.  This swan was one of two on the Upper Cascade.
