Another job that we had to do ourselves, was to connect the tanks to the gutters. The builders had connected the small tank to the other end of the gutter with four or five knees. It looked terrible and was right in the walkway and I wanted it fixed! When I started to work on it I saw that they had not even made a hole in the gutter, which made the water gush out the other end and lots of water seeped into the house. On Wednesday they came and turned the gutter around, cleaned it up and made a hole but I wanted to connect it to the tank myself because I want a filter in the gutter. We put in a filter and connected the down pipe and it looks much neater and out of the way. Now it may rain!
