Airport Art

This is a mural near the baggage claim at the Atlanta Airport. I would have liked to credit the artist but was unable to locate an artist accreditation.

The plan was to pick Ken up in Atlanta, spend the night there and after a relaxing breakfast Thursday morning, drive to Jacksonville for Lilli’s Grandparent’s Day program at school on Friday.  

Oh well, you know what the say about best laid plans.

I discovered shortly after checking into the hotel that I’d totally flubbed the date and the program was on Thursday.  AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!! 

So, after picking Ken up at 10pm, grabbing a bite to eat and a taking a short nap,  we checked out of the hotel at 3am and drove to Jacksonville, arriving at the school with literally 6 minutes to spare.  

Not disappointing a grandchild--priceless!
