Silly Saturday
The local scouts planned their bonfire and firework display to start at 6:30 pm – just the time I needed to be cooking for wife to be able to eat at 7 pm. The bonfire and display takes place in a field some 200m away but I don’t get a clear line of view – there are houses between us and the field. So I cooked with the front door open so I could hear when the display started. Of course most of the fireworks I wouldn’t see only hear as they would not be visible over the houses opposite – just the rockets and fireworks that shoot their contents in the air.
So you could say I was rather SILLY to think I could cook and get a decent firework shot. Well, today’s blip is one of those SILLY shots – I think I managed to capture 3 rocket explosions on this exposure of about 3 seconds.
