Remnant of Matthew

Hurricane Matthew created an inconvenience at our house (lost food in frig, etc. vs. devastation for others), but I did hate to lose this wax myrtle that was removed yesterday after the storm pulled part of the trunk and roots out of the ground. The part of the trunk you see is 8 inches across at the widest point.  The tree was part of a row of the same variety that form a natural barrier down the side of the backyard. 
I renewed my Blip membership last weekend and as I did so, I thought of you.  I am so blessed by your sharing, comments, and instruction.   Thank you for being my Blip friends and community.  I sometimes wonder what it would be like if a group of us lived in the same neighborhood.
