Disappointment

A disappointing day. Headed down to the bank this morning only to find it doesn't open on Saturday mornings anymore. Another customer service coup. Then I decided to knock up a big pot of chilli and harvested the first of my window-sill grown chillies, only to find that it wasn't hot at all. I seem to have grown sweet chillies. Sigh. But on with the cooking and when done it tasted ... well, disappointing. I left it to 'mature' though and headed off to watch the Jambos. And more disappointment - boy were they rubbish today! Scraped a point somehow but really didn't deserve it.

But home again, a bit more work on the chilli and we had it for dinner. And it was great. End of disappointment for this weekend!
