Bonfire night

Usual Saturday with grocery shop and playing.  In the afternoon we three played a lovely game of Octonauts as instigated and directed by CyclopsJnr.  He wanted to be Peso - a penguin medic - and he found himself a scuba helmet (basket on his head) and a medic's bag and played at 'swimming' and 'helping' distressed creatures.  We were other characters in the show, and at one point cyclops was a submarine.  

Around lunchtime we thought maybe we'd go to see some fireworks in the evening so we checked out what was on.  The main one in Edinburgh is at Meadowbank and it doesn't look like there's many competitors on the 5th.  Well that was sold out and anyway it turns out cancelled due to high winds.  But we saw Dunfermline had one that looked good.

Loads of traffic into Dunfermline but by a combination of luck and judgement we ditched the car about a mile away and walked in to arrive just in time for the fireworks display.  The theme was movies and it was a lovely display to a movie soundtrack.  To be honest CyclopsJnr was not all that excited by the whole thing.  Ah well.  We grown ups liked it.
