Today's the day ............................ to open presents

As every parent will know, the best birthday present for a one-year-old is the cardboard box full of the wrapping paper that came off all the gifts that were given on the day.

Tessa had lots of lovely things given to her to celebrate her first birthday today and she unwrapped them all with relish.  She was a complete star at her pizza party and everyone had a whale of a time.  It's been such a lovely day and we've enjoyed every minute.

This little girl who arrived very unexpectedly early on Bonfire Night a year ago has brought such joy to all the family ...........................
