Greater Spotted Woodpecker enjoying his dinner today in Lochwinnoch. I had attempted to snap this fellow last week and my shots were awful, his visit was too brief and my photos were super blurry.
I was back today, and so was he! What a poser! I also spotted a jay flying through the woods as I walked. I've never seen one before, so today was a great day. :-)
