Doors open / doors close

Heard today that a good friend had had her baby. Great news. But at 32 weeks I know they have a long road ahead of them. Seeing pictures of him in nicu brings back so many memories

Also heard from another dear friend that her mum has entered st Richards hospice. Whilst this has been expected for a while, it still has come as a huge shock.

The rest of the days seems irrelevant when you've heard these two bits of news.

We've just got back from an shaving firework display. Lovely atmosphere.
