Setting..

A much longer sleep than last night- huzzah!

A longish lie, and then we braced ourselves and headed out to FK to try and get some more birthday and Christmas presents. Sweet Jesus. I don't understand how/why people go shopping every Saturday. It's crazy. We only went to 4 shops, but that was bad enough. Anyway, we sucked it up and got a few things for folk, then headed home, just as the sun was setting.

A FaceTime session with my brother and family, then some wine and dinner.

I can hear the fireworks - but no plans to venture out - far too cosy inside!
