Coming up roses

I was on flag returning duties today. At the sheltered housing in Calton these lovely ladies were still there after their aerobics class. They were delighted to show off their flags to other members of the group.

From Calton it was on to Partick where there were thank you cards and more delight in receiving back the flags and artwork.

Today's blip is the rose which I thought I had killed off but has come into bloom and smells amazing. It was a gift from a friend who called today to share some great and well deserved news. This one is for you Mr M.
