Hebridean Princess and Some Sunshine

8.7C with sunny sunshine but feeling colder. Moderate N/NNW breeze.

There was a lovely sunrise again when Maeve the Deerhound and I were out around 7am. Almost cloudless so the colours had a chance to show behind Davaar island.

Maeve and I went along to the farmer's market before 10am and visited the baking stall. I have decided scones are their best offering. I tried the white bread today and have decided it is rather heavy. That leaves me with half a small loaf and a whole large loaf to divide up and freeze for consumption in small amounts.

After lunch Maeve and I went for the repeat of our usual morning walking route across the road and round to the park and the harbour and back along through town. Hebridean Princess was moored at the old quay in the sunlight. A much better day than she had for her last visit.

Once Maeve was back home and settled I went for a walk. Runrig (Mara then Amazing Things) on the Clip. I went out Low Askomill to the old shipyard and kept going out the North shore path past Baraskomel farm and out as far as the gate on the last stretch to Macringan's point where I turned round and came back. I wanted to be back in time to see the rugby on telly so I didn't go round the esplanade to the harbour today. I did take a couple more shots of the Hebridean Princess from Low Askomill but shooting against and obliquely to the low sun didn't give good results.

Afternoon music telly ... Autumn test match. Rugby Union. Wales v Australia.
