Autumn's Bounty

I was walking up a disused track with the dogs yesterday when I was hit  on my back by something heavy!!!  No one around; then my foot landed on a large 'stone'. Closer inspection showed hundreds of apples on the ground and also falling off the tree above me in the wind. Today there's about 10 kilos of apples bubbling nicely in my preserving pan
Also got nearly a kilo of blackberries - in November!
