Pineapple Sage is Blooming

I have been waiting for a month for the Pineapple Sage to bloom and finally it is ready for my resident hummingbirds to feast. This Hummer was taking a good long suck so I was able to get a decent shot!

Another unseasonable warm and sunny day which was great for a long walk to the lake but there were no ducks present.....I wonder if the Eagles are back, but I didn't see either of them!
