Log Tag......

A frosty start until the sun came out,followed by the odd shower.
It seems that my Blips turn into daily weather reports quite a lot, but it's only because the weather plays such a big part in everything we do.
Tagged some wee calves and decided to keep them in as there isn't much point them going back to the field only to have to come in before long any way.
Wee brother wanted a hand sorting some strip lights in his shed,but the box of tubes I thought was full turned out to be nearly empty. Meant a trip to Penicuik to buy some more,and could do with some rawl bolts,some M12 bolts,nylock nuts,washers a few new drill bits etc,etc. £147 later thought I better stop !
Spending a quiet Friday night sorting out passports for cattle that are going away next week. Who says weekends aren't fun !
Spotted this tag on one of our gate posts today. No idea what it stands for, but what is now a gate post started life as an electric pole, presumably in 1951. Just shows you how good proper creosote is at preserving wood. Not like the rubbish,environmentally friendly stuff they treat fencing stuff with these days.
