You lookin' at me?

Baby House Sparrow getting ready to leave his home, to fly where ever he wants to go. Ahhh, freedom!!
He's from the third clutch from the same parents so far this season. The bird house was supposed to be decoration by my back door. The parents must feel very safe. There is food, water and shelter. Funny thing is that they chose a high activity area. My dogs are in and out all day long!! I have been able to observe each time the parents raised their young. It's interesting to see how devoted they are. When the babies get older and bigger, there isn't any room left for the parents to go in, so they feed their babies outside the opening. The little ones are super demanding! I saw one actually stretch it's neck as far as it could go, and peck at the mother for food!! She still feeds them until they fly out to be on thier own.
