Red Hot Flower

I cannot remember what these are called , visiting my niece today it was on her window sill so I snapped for todays FF challenge. I am sure some will know what its name is, some kind of ornamental pepper maybe??

We had a lovely drive back through Chipping Camden , lovely village so many beautiful cotswold buildings,  we had a Brown Baguette from a French Pattissarie  (cannot spell it haha) delicious I came away with a yummy looking quiche and supper yummy pear tart
