Weaning

Time was up for the Quiet wean nose flaps so we brought in the cattle and separated off the calves and took off their nose flaps. They seemed a little surprised to be on their own but fairly quiet. We will see later on tonight if they have worked. 

This morning I had a dog consultation, a second visit and they are happy to report some great improvements which is great. We worked on some new things and went over some old. 

Before the appointment in the pouring rain our Shetland tup Harold had decided to escape from with his ewes and into the field with Owains. A quick gather in to separate him off then fixing the fence in the rain. He hasn't escaped since being returned so fingers crossed.
