Underneath The Arches

We are having a lovely trip to Birmingham visiting Sharon and Charles who we met when we were holidaying in Botswana in August. While Charles rehearsed for the evening performance of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Sharon, Jack and I walked the canal paths and backstreets. There is so much redevelopment and regeneration going on. The old Victorian brick tunnel is now lit and being used more frequently by residents.

Then to the concert in the Symphony Hall, huge orchestra and wonderful sound. Home to our friends' home for drinks and much discussion on many current topics!
