Introducing 'Bonzo'
Here's the wee caravan that we ferried up to Auckland. It's having its first makeover date tomorrow, being measured for blinds. They can only be an improvement! It travelled well on the roads and was very stable, thankfully. The return trip back down to Christchurch starts tomorrow.
It was quite a relief driving around Auckland today, not having to worry about where to stop and how. The best thing was looking at the all the entries for the National Geographic Photographer of the Year entries. There are some amazing photographers in New Zealand. We also visited the National War Memorial Museum, but were only there for about 15 minutes before fire alarms went off, and fire engines started arriving. We didn't hang around to see what happened - didn't see any sign of smoke.
