Big time pond dipping!

Working at the nature reserve today.  Main task was to improve the view from one of the hides.  Reeds in the pond were far too tall and after they had been cut down the debris had to be dragged out.
The helpers not in waders cleared the rest of the area on the bank and now the keen bird watchers should be able to see many more birds and other creatures.
Extra shows that muscles were needed.  Suspect there may be a few aching backs and joints tonight!
Returned to Maths Group this afternoon and found that the cogs are still working!
