Everyday I Write The Book

Making the best of it

Poor Dizzle had a difficult birthday due to health issues, but we made a cosy start of it and lit a log fire (it felt really cold this morning) and did presents and breakfast. Then off to the London to the amusing but not scary London Dungeon, The Real Greek in Bow Street and desserts and pudding at Cafe Vergagno on the South Bank. Presents were all travel related, a top end rucksack being the star of the show.

This was a significant day for TSM and me too: no more teenagers now that The Dizzle has hit 20.

Dylan had a huge rat in the garden today, poor thing was crippled but still putting up a fight. I killed it with a spade, which I absolutely hate doing but it was not going to survive after being mauled. After that the fake rats in The London Dungeon really didn't bother me.

We got home at 7 and found the cats well, which means that after two days of Felixhaven there have not been any escapes or traumas. Just dead rats.

Watched Interstellar last night, hadn't seen it before. Good film.  Not what I expected.

Been a funny week but now it's nearly over. And as The Dizzle pointed out we can celebrate properly another day.
