Temple grounds
Another back blip from yesterday. Yesterday was one of those strange days where you don't seem to do a lot but the day vanishes. We went shopping in the morning. We got home and realised we had not gone to the chemist to get hubby some low dosage asprins so off we went again. We went to a Boots Chemist and were informed that they could not sell them to us without a prescription, well that astounded us. We were told we could get a prescription from the local hospital. Once there it became clear that it was not so simple as that. He would in fact have to pay to see a doctor, even though he had a letter from his Australian specialist staying that he should take statins and low dosage aspirin. Undeterred we head back to our village and into a small chemist shop who was very happy to sell her entire stock of low dosage asprins. He now has about 9 months supply. At some time in the future we will see our doctor here, but she is a drive away and appointment only.
On the way back we walked passed this beautiful ancient Temple and I took a few shots in the grounds, we were not suitably dressed for going into the Temple plus it was very busy. This is a replica of a cart being pulled along by water buffalo. We will go back here for a proper look. Funny how you can live so close to interesting places and not visit.
Later we had dinner at the Burmese restaurant and it was a bit late when we got home .
