Klimbing in the Karawanken

The wall between Austria and Slovenia is an abrupt jagged line of limestone peaks. This via ferrata route was supposed to be an easy one, which it was not by any scale of the imagination. But you never really can trust the grading on these things. Either they base it on length, or exposure, or plain climbing difficulty. This one had them all - plus a wire bridge thrown in. I like climbing on rock, but wildly distrust anything man made with a passion. It just gives me the willies!
