Teatime Treats

Slept like logs, so made up for the night before!! I was up and the. out for 10.30 to visit mum, as mr and sis were taking her out for a special lunch today, a slightly early birthday treat.

When I got there she was only just getting herself together, sis arrived, and between us we managed to get her out of the house in good time, as we had booked a table at Slatterys, a well known patisserie and chocolatier, thats not too far from Mums.

We all had Lancashire Afternoon Tea, which was very scrumptious......as you can see from th blip, mum was rather delighted with her Happy Birthday "firework" too :-)

Afterwards the three of us went to a nearby garden centre for an hours wander, which included "Christmas" stuff, can you believe it, already!!!!! Then it was back to mum's for a couple of hours, before meeting up with sis again for our Step class.......which turned out to be circuit training tonight.....very tough!!!!

Drove home afterwards, felt like a wet rag, straight into the shower.........still not had anything else to eat, since lunch, think maybe a few crackers, with cheese will be all this evening ;-)
