Last Leaf Standing

Our friends Nicola and Stewart visited today. We made them lunch of haddock mornay served with roast new potatoes and asparagus washed down with a couple of bottles of ale. After lunch Ann lit the fire and we had a nice afternoon chatting.

Before preparing lunch I popped into the garden to take a pic or two. The sun shining on the winter fire plant made for a nice autumnal picture.
