Misty Morning

This was the view looking to the right from our bedroom window soon after I woke this morning.
I hurried with my breakfast and getting ready (in that order as it was porridge/porage with Golden Syrup served in bed), however by the time I left for work the mist had lifted leaving a beautiful sunny day - but not one that I wanted to photograph in a hurry at that time of day. I was also delayed for a few minutes by having to wait for the windscreen to thaw - the first time this winter. 
Incidentally, I wrote porage / porridge as there appears to be some debate as to how to spell it. Evidently Scotts (as in Scotts Porage Oats) started to spell it "porage" back in 1914 to differentiate it from everyone else's "porridge".
