graduation day

left work early to see my friend marcus become a police officer. it's been a rough few months for him at police academy (contrary to what the movies suggest), but all of that hard work has paid off.

he was not awarded the physical fitness award for his class, which i later found out was presented to he who was most improved - with an entry score of nearly 100, there's little improvement to realize.

it was nice to get out of the presentation hall, as sitting in a room with that many cops had my foot reaching for the brake the entire ceremony.
