Gaylord is Back!

Dear Diary,

What joy!  Gaylord is back for his sunflower seeds and he posed quite nicely for me.  The sudden cold snap, 18 F yesterday, brought him scurrying back to the porch and I am delighted.  It is supposed to be warmer today and more rain on Thursday, but Gaylord senses, as all the creatures do, that it is just a matter of time for the snow flies.

I am relieved to see his sweet face again, I was getting worried.  I hope he comes everyday now but he will have to compete with Philly for those seeds.  I will put out extra.  I have to keep my little ones fed!
