Sometimes there's a dog...

After some consideration we decided this distinctive doggy was well worthy of our first blip. We met "Keela" in a great little cafe in Santa Monica where we like to go for lunch in its pretty dappled courtyard, surrounded by creeping flora and garden birds.

We've been living in Los Angeles for eight weeks now and slowly getting used to the new surroundings and its oily undertones. However, one thing became apparent very quickly ... tiny toy mutts rule the streets here! All the more reason why Keela came to our attention with her bigger bones, arresting eyes and beautiful nature.

According to her owner she's part cattle worker, part goodness knows what - I'm not convinced there isn't a touch of dingo or even hyena going on in there somewhere! One thing's for sure however, this former stray is a dude who makes friends wherever she goes. Let's hope our paths cross again very soon!
