Frosty Morning

Not the first frost of the year ( it's the second) but the first one where I had enough time to get the camera out for a few quick shots. The heucherella (or were the heuchera- oh well matters not) and the buddleia were both frosted pretty heavily this AM but the heuchera looked better in the photo. It's the first day of November and most of the trees have lost their leaves and the rest are brown. Except for the neighbor's stupid Norway maple which still hasn't dropped  all of it's leaves and some are still green! And why am I upset about this? It is very close to the property line and it drops a lot of it's leaves on the corner of my front yard and I am tired of raking by the time it drops the leaves. (whine , whine , whine). I will probably do what I did last year:rake half of them , leave the rest on the flower bed and clear it all out in the spring.
