I hope you'll forgive my elongated format this evening. I really try to do the more standard compositional forms, but tonight I had no choice with this image. I guess it was just meant to be this size. As you can tell, I'm bothered by this long photograph and I really shouldn't let it trouble me. Though in printing, mounting and in framing this does present problems, I think. But that is not the point of posting here. For me The Blip is here to share what I think is worth sharing, not what is perfect.

Sometimes stuff just needs to be left alone. One should stop trying to interfering with things that really don't need to be interfered with or changed. Instead, try to gain the knowledge of recognizing what doesn't need changing and why messing with them is not an option. Getting in the way of good, or trying to tweak it, in the end does no good. That tack will only cause you frustration and maybe even dilute the experience. There is also the potential for damaging what you don't have the skill to modify or refine. If you like something "Well good God man, leave it alone and move on!"
