Bikes, local beer (Boundary Bay), live music, a classic movie shown on an outdoor screen -- what's not to like?

Despite the hot weather forecast for the next few days, there's a good chance that we'll find ourselves downtown on Friday evening to enjoy the 4th annual Bellingham Bike-In, co-produced by the Pickford Film Center, SPARK Museum of Electrical Invention, and Mount Bakery.

I want to see to the "Show 'n Shine" competition, open to all ages:
Best Vintage Classic (before 1980) -- Original or restored classic bikes
Best Special Custom -- Hand-built, novelty, multi-wheeled, tall, circus bikes
Best Decorated Bike -- Any type or year of bike decorated with streamers, lights, cards
