The Girls Get Acquainted

C. and 3-year-old V. had a smooth transition across the continent to take a room in the house today. I've known Mom for a dozen years and I've been helping as much as I can to get these two new housemates settled in. V. is a bit of a surprise because in all the years I've spent in the house I've never seen a child of any description in the house, even as a visitor, nor have I heard of one stopping by. For all I know she might be the first child resident who has ever lived here in the century since it was built.

Fortunately for everyone, the newcomers are cat lovers. Here Georgina, our oldest cat, inspects our youngest human. They were the best of friends within a few minutes.
