A Rainy Forest

Rain mixed with snow!  That's the weather today, and apparently the next few days too.
We were out for our walk this morning when the rain was only drizzling but even so I didn't want to take my phone out for too long, so today's blip is of the forest floor around a fairly old fir tree.
As I looked at the details I was amazed by just how many plants and fungii were growing around and on this tree.
And this is just one tree in a huge forest!
