Nine Mens Sorry

Visit to Hanbury Hall (see extra photo) this afternoon, as being the last 'local' NT house we'd not yet got to. 

A pleasant walk around the house and gardens, and an acceptable cream tea in the servants quarters.  Despite concerns, arriving to a full car park, that it might have been Halloween'd, the theming had been kept to a few cobwebs and spiders and most of the scary beasties were in the play area.

A few fascinating / gorgeous pieces of furniture making, one of which I'd liked to have seen more of but that room guide was not looking like he'd be easily distracted by mere visitors.

The arrangement in the formal gardens strikes me as some curious horticultural hybrid of Nine Mens Morris and Sorry!
