Rowan Berries and Lichen

This morning we had sunshine and blue sky so we went to Loch Tummel in the hope of wonderful reflections. There was a bit of a breeze so no perfect reflections and the sun refused to light up the trees that we wanted to feature. When it eventually did I found that the trees blended too much with those in the background. If only they had been in shadow.....

Later we visited Queen's View where there was a cafe which had soya milk and a vegan date slice so we indulged in a soya cappuccino and the date slice. That was where we found the rowan tree which was smothered in lichens.
